So, last week I had the absolute pleasure of photographing my brand, spanking new nephew, Deklin Dash Brown and...I am in love! My nephew is the tiniest, most beautiful little bundle of perfection there is! I honestly believe that having nieces and nephews is the next best thing to having your own children. I have often heard this said about grandchildren, however that is not even a twinkle in my eye at this point so nieces and nephews it is!

Now, a newborn session is usually quite lengthy as we take plenty of time to feed baby and rock them to sleep. That is when the magic happens! Once deeply asleep, they are so easily manipulated into all of those adorable little poses! And it is quite easy to fold them right into a bucket or basket or whatever other apparatus you feel like putting a baby into. Deklin is quite a deep sleeper and went right down for the count, allowing me to get a lot of great shots. Enjoy these few teasers from his session...
