For us ladies, there is nothing better than cuddling with a brand new little girl or boy; that new baby smell, the adorable little sounds and perfect little baby face make us fall in love with each and every Tiptoe baby we meet!

We are super excited to introduce our new promotion for maternity, birthDAY and newborn sessions! Because these sessions absolutely go hand in hand, why not save a little money? Now, whenever you book two or more of these 3 sessions, you have the opportunity to save BIG! Mix and match maternity and newborn, maternity and birthDAY, birthDAY and newborn...the combo is completely up to you! Or book all 3 for even bigger savings!

Ohhhhh, how I love this boys momma! She has poured so much into my family over the past year and a half. She has been with us, coaching us on how to handle the baby Tre and make him all he can be! We have "played", laughed and cried together and words just never could express how truly grateful I am to her (and Mrs. Lacy) for all they did to help us! So when she said she wanted me to take her oldest sons senior pictures I was soooooo honored! Jacob is the best! He is beyond smart, honorable, determined and kind. All the things that any parents want their child to be!  Boy, oh boy he is going places in this life and I can't wait to hear about it!  Congrats to Jacob on your graduation! Tis the season at Tiptoe Studios and we are ready for the holidays! we have a couple of pretty fantastic deals coming up and we do NOT want you to miss out!

First up- we are starting a new tradition this year and thanks to YOU, we are offering Pictures With Santa this Saturday, December 3rd before the Charles Town/Ranson parade! We had an overwhelming request for these sessions so we decided to try it out! You will already be in town for the parade; why not stop by and your little one(s) picture taken with Santa?

Next up- Tiptoe's Last Call for holiday sessions! No worries ya'll, we are still booking regular holiday sessions but these are designed for those of you who love to wait last minute (and I am in the same boat, believe me!) and need digital files for Christmas cards, photo prints, photo gifts, etc. These are 10 minute sessions held on Sunday, December 4th and you will have your digital files edited and delivered in plenty of time for gift giving! Be sure to call and reserve your time slot!

Just a sidenote- our deadline for ordering prints with a guaranteed delivery before Christmas is Monday, December 12th. Anything ordered after that will not be guaranteed for Christmas delivery without extra shipping charges.

I had such a wonderful time photographing baby Hadley. She is baby number 3 for one of our favorite families! And the FIRST baby girl! Hadley is so lucky to have 2 big brothers who love her so much.... Well at least biggest brother does, Landon was so kind and gentle and sweet, showering her in his big bro kisses! I can't even take it!! All the while little brother was really into hims trucks, lol!! Which of course is way cooler for him than a little sister! DUH!   Enjoy some of my faves from their shoot!

Tara here and I have some really great news! It's fundraiser time and this go round we are supporting an awesome local baseball team, the 8U Summit Point Pride! These boys have worked super hard and just won the Virginia District 9 Babe Ruth Rookie Championship! This means they are moving on to the state tournament in New Kent Virginia starting on June 30th. Tiptoe is hosting a fundraiser to help them cover some of the costs associated with the trip and that means you have the opportunity to get a great discounted price on our copyrights and help out the boys at the same time! It's totally a win/win situation if I do say so, myself! You are able to use this deal for almost any type of shoot- family, kids, engagement, head shot, etc.

We will be booking these sessions in 10 minute time slots at $30 per image instead of our regular $100. That's right, folks, it is a savings of $70!! You can book up to 2 slots per family at the same $30 per image. (So 2 slots= $60 and 2 copyright images.) 50% of the proceeds go right back to the Pride, so please help us help them make this happen!

I absolutely love this time of year. Yes, I am that stereotypical girl who really digs sweaters, layers, boots, scarves and pumpkin spice lattes in front of a fire! I am that person who puts away her summer clothes in September and drags out the flannel! Why can't October come around more than once a year?

My other favorite part about the tail end of the year are all the great holidays! Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas...love it! At Tiptoe these holidays give us a reason to celebrate and give our clients the opportunity to enjoy some really great savings!

First up... Halloween! This coming Friday, October 23rd is Downtown Charles Town's Annual Trick or Treat and we sincerely hope you will join us! In addition to passing out candy, we will doing Tiptoe Teeny Tiny Sessions! Bring your little one  in their costume and get their picture taken; these packages start at just $20!

This past Sunday I finally had the pleasure of getting a very special group of people in front of my camera! I actually went to school with Adam and Suzanna (waaaaayyyy back in the day, lol!) but it wasn't until a few years ago, when our sons went to Wee Disciples, together that we really connected. The boys became fast friends and as soon as our daughters met, it was 2 for 2! Needless to say, Suze, Adam and their family soon became some of our closest friends!

Our kids honestly play together just like siblings and it even becomes a little bit difficult to tell all of these blond haired, blue eyed children apart at times! We have gotten to share lots of fun experiences together from rainy, 8am soccer games and two and a half hour long little league baseball games to (crowded!) visits to the pumpkin patch and even an awesome beach vacation. We love the time we get to spend together and since everyone has a companion, it makes it even more enjoyable! (Well, except for Paige, the youngest Brady; I wasn't willing to add a little Showen counterpart for her to become best friends with; Instead I just love on her any chance I get!)

So, after bribing everyone with candy, we set off and got a few shots! Enjoy these few teasers from their session!

Not only is this a hugely popular season for weddings and school portraits, but we get crazy busy booking family sessions because with the cooler weather coming on, we are all reminded that Christmas is around the corner. And what do we all need around Christmas time? Christmas cards (we got ya covered!) and Christmas presents (check!) !

Once more this year we are rolling out our Session CD Super Sale. Hold a session between October 1st and 11th and you can purchase your session CD with full-resolution images for $500 instead of our regular $1300! That is a savings of $800 guys! Busy, busy, busy... what a whirlwind of the past week. I have had tons of shoots, tons of editing, a baby Tre actual birthday, a visit to the zoo, Tiptoe meetings, yard sale, all the while preparing for the fair pageant and the first day of school! SHEWWWW! I am beat, but I honestly wouldn't have it any other way! I love this LIFE and I love being able to be there for my babies everyday, all the while having a thriving business!! Here are some of my favorite images from my personal life, this week! LOL!

We have shot many weddings over the years, so we have seen it all.  But when I say they thought about everything, really...they thought about EVERYTHING.   It was such an amazing day that I'm sure their guest will not forget.  Everything was absolutely STUNNING!   Tommie and Mark are such a sweet couple, and we are so thankful to have been able to capture their perfect day!  They got married at The Bowling Green Country Club in Front Royal, VA.  Enjoy a couple teasers from their special day.
